I have been thinking about replacing the light fixtures in my home. The ones I have now are just so plain. I’d love to maybe put a couple of chandeliers in the living room. Farreys has a really good selection of home lighting fixtures.
It’s easy to search their site for just the right kind of lighting for your home. You can search by category or brand. I found the ceiling fan I have been looking for in no time. It’s one of those island type fans with the big leaf like blades. I think it would look nice in my room or maybe even put two in the living room instead of the chandeliers.

The kids started back to school a few weeks ago. I’ve already had to ground Jake. He brought home some grades that weren’t so great. He has been riding his gocart everyday but I told him that until his grades came up, he wasn’t going to be allowed to ride it. I know he can do better, he just needs to pay attention in school. He’s probably daydreaming all day about that gocart lol.

Rhiannon has been making pretty good grades. She really likes her teacher. I do get irritated with the school though because it’s like every day they are asking for money. What does Will pay taxes for? I mean we have to buy uniforms, school supplies, then they want money for a field trip in November (I had to send part of the money today).

Well I think I am going to try to nap before the kids get home. I’ve been up since 6:15 and I am sooo tired.

I don’t have a Mac (though I’ve heard they are really good computers) but to those of you who do here’s a link for Mac memory. For those of you who do have Macs, are they worth the price? I’ve heard that some people prefer them to PCs. I’m not sure if I could get used to one though because I’ve used a PC for so long.

I think instead of buying a new desktop, I’m just going to buy a bigger hard drive. I think the one in here now is maybe a 60 GB. I would like to get a terabyte (I think they are pretty new). I think I’d have plenty of space then. I’ve learned it’s just more cost effective to upgrade computers than to totally replace them.

I’ve been thinking about trying some different recipes and I’ve come across paella. But I need a paella pan first. Myson has an excellent selection of paella pans.
