Well hello, Spring!
The weather here has been wonderful! It’s been around 5o in the morning and about 80 in the afternoon. The humidity hasn’t been around, but I think it’s making an appearance today because I already had to turn the window a/c units on (my central a/c unit still isn’t working :( ). It hasn’t rained since last week and that was just enough to wash some of the pollen away. So now everyone is wishing for rain when just a few weeks ago they were tired of it. I don’t mind the rain as long as it doesn’t last for days at a time. Whenever it’s cloudy its hard for me to get motivated to do anything. I am the kind of person who needs the sun. I am not much of an indoors person but there’s not much to do outside here. And since I live 45 minutes from the nearest decent park that’s not an option either. I am hoping to be able to get some things to make a flower bed in front of the house. That will at least give me something to do and I’m sure that Trey will enjoy digging in the dirt too.
I hope that gas prices go down because I am so longing for a day road trip so I can take pictures. We are thinking about driving up the <a href=” It takes awhile to get to Natchez on the Trace, but it’s worth it because of all of the scenery”>Natchez Trace</a> all the way to Natchez. It takes awhile to get to Natchez on the Trace, but it’s worth it because of all of the scenery (The Trace actually goes all the way up to TN, but we’ve never driven that far.) Natchez is right on the MS River and it’s absolutely beautiful. I personally would love to visit some of the antebellum houses that have been renovated. I know people have a lot of negative things to say about MS but it is really one of the most beautiful places. But it would be nice if there were more things to do here.
Oh, one more thing before I end this post…I need some suggestions on some really good free photo sharing websites. So start suggesting …. :D

welcome back sunshine, where have you been?
Did I tell you how crazy the weather is here? Last week our temps were in the hi 60s low 70s. When we went to the zoo Saturday, it was around 72. Then Sunday, we had a cold front move in and it dropped to like 32 degrees and was raining/sleeting/snowing! None of it stuck to anything though because of all of the warm weather we have had. Our weather here in MS is definitely odd. It’s back in the 70s today and the sun is out. It’s so nice outside, well, aside from the fact that it’s still muddy from all of the rain. But I’m glad that it’s sunny and warm not cloudy and cold.
Even though the weather was still kind of blah on Sunday, we took the kids and bought them some goldfish. Trey always loves the fish aquariums at the museum so I thought we’d get him a few little cheap fish. I am glad we only paid like $.38 for them because yesterday, he decided he wanted to try to take a couple of them out. I had no idea what he had done with them and I don’t really think he did either lol. I finally found the 2 that were missing in the filter. They were still alive and didn’t look like they were hurt. But I’m thinking that he had one of them out of the water for a little too long because it doesn’t look to lively. The other one I found in the filter is swimming around fine. The other one..eh..he’s kind of floating along and tends to go to the top a lot. So yeah, doesn’t look like that one is gonna make it. I don’t think Trey will even notice and besides that, we can just go and get another one. I did take the time to explain to him that he can’t take them out because they have to stay in the water to breathe. So hopefully he listened to me. If not, then I will have to put the tank where he can’t reach it. So far today, he hasn’t tried to get any of them out.
Ok, I’m gonna go now so I can find some Excedrin to take for my sinus headache….ahh…The joys of spring lol
