Still posting!

I kind of messed up my other wordpress database, not really sure what I did.  I still have some of the old files so I may try to figure out how to export my old posts, but if not, that’s ok too.  It’s kind of cool to get to start this blog over.

The kids are excited about Halloween.  Jake is going to be a skeleton, Rhiannon is going to be a ragdoll, and Trey is going to be superman. He is old enough this year to actually enjoy trick or treating.  Will is not going to get to go because he has to work. He actually put in a vacation day for the 31st but since I live in the south where people are crazy about high school football, they moved trick or treating to the 30th.  It made me mad, but there’s nothing I can do about it.  Will may try to see if he can put the vacation day back, but if not, I guess we’ll find something to do lol.  I thought  about checking the kids out of school and going somewhere, but they don’t want me to do that because they both have perfect attendance.  I can understand that though.  They are both doing well in school.  Jake had 4 As, 3 Bs, and 2 Cs on his report card.  Rhiannon had 4 As and a B.  Jake could do better if he wanted to, but I am not going to complain.  Rhiannon is definitely an overachiever so she gets upset if she gets anything lower than a B.

Trey just amazes me all the time.  He’s 3 and a half and ever since he was about 2 and a half or so, he’s been able to identify all of his ABCs and numbers to 10. Now he’s able to write them.  I don’t remember the other 2 being that interested in stuff like that.  I have also been working with him on his shapes and colors.  By the time he’s in kindergarten, he’ll probably know more than most of the other kids.  He’s like a little sponge because he just soaks up information so easily.

Ok, I’ll post pictures later.  I need to get some cleaning done around here!
